Haiti

Many of us are aware that Haiti was struck by a severe earthquake yesterday. The Washington Post is calling this horrific event the 'disaster of the century.' Please send thoughts, prayers, good vibes to the people of this tiny country. And, if you can, donate. Haiti is already a very poor country with an infrastructure that is lacking. You can donate through many organizations, secular and nonsecular and through many nonprofits. I chose to donate to the relief effort through MADRE, an organization that I have supported for many years.
