For me, the best thing about December (holidays, cookies, treats, friends and family time aside) is the way a newly purchased moleskin notebook smells. I love fingering through the soft pages and planning things for the year to come.

I love moleskines. I use one for a journal, and I swear, the idea of getting a new one keeps me motivated to write in the current one!
